  • If you don't name them in Logic Audio Configuration window, the analog input 1 of 828, the first on the back of the unit, is the input 3! If you don't rename your inputs, Logic will understand like this: - 828's Mic/Guitar 1 - Input 1 - 828's Mic/Guitar 2 - Input 2 - 828's Analog input 1 - Input 3 - 828's Analog input 2 - Input 4.
Hi there!
Just joined this forum (see the intro topic) and am trying to start with home recording guitar / bass and drum programming.
Online there's so much to find that its difficult to exactly find what I need.
The situation:
I have a Macbook Air that I want to use as my DAW running Logic pro x with an iRig2 interface.
Now I'm wondering if this is the right way to go.
Using the iRig with AmpliTube on my iPhone works, but then I can't change amps and cabs anymore after recording.
Should I use AmpliTube Custom Shop as a VST instead? It looks like it's working very good, but I'd like to have an Orange amp and it's d*mn expensive, so I would like to know if it's worth the money are that there are other, perhaps cheaper, ways to go.
All advice will be highly appreciated

How To Use Guitar In Logic Pro X

Logic Pro X Flex Time. Flex Time in Logic does what it says on the can. It allows you to stretch and contract audio files so you can synchronize them with the rest of the tracks. It's very handy for when you want to correct recording mistakes or just polish an otherwise good recording. Recording some guitars on my new track called 'Medvind'.Working in Logic Pro X for this one, somehow I always choose Logic when I know I'm going to record gu.

Recording

Hi:

I am hoping someone can help me. I have my guitar routed into Input 2 in Logic Pro X.

Amp designer logic pro x

I loaded an amp from the Library of amps. For example, right now, I have loaded the Amazing Tweed .

Acoustic

The problem is, when I record or play the guitar, I cannot hear it going through the amp. In other words, I can't hear the processed sound. When I play back something I recorded, I hear the processed sound.

How do i hear the amp as I am recording? All I am hearing is a clean unprocessed sound when I play, which ***** because I'd like to hear the amp I'm using.

Thank-you
